Summary: IN THIS ARTICLE, PEOPLE FROM PAKISTAN HAD BEEN HURT BECAUSE OF FACEBOOK. BAD PISTURES DENIGRATING PROPHET MUHAMMAD HAD BEEN POSTED BY AN AMERICAN CARTOONISRT. ALTHOUGH THE ECONOMIC IMPACT IN THE COUNTRIES , AUTHORITIES, ANCOURAGE BY MANY PEOPLE, DECIDED AND CLOSED 450 SITES INCLUDING FACEBOOK ITSELF.
Issues that can be found:* SHOULD THE AMERICANS BE CONDAMNED FOR DOING A SUCH CRIME?
*WHY IS THE RELIGION FAVORED IN THIS COUNTRY RATHER THAN THE ECONOMY?
* HOW DOES FACEBOOK COMPANY REACT TO THIS MATTER?
My opinion: I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CONSIDER THAT FACEBOOK IS A SET OF PUBLIC WEBSITES BETWEEN OTHERS. IN FACT, THEY DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A BIG DEAL AVER THAT KIND OF ISSUE. IT IS NOT TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO ACT LIKE THAT BUT IT IS A PART OF HUMAN. EVEN CATHOLIC PEOPLE ARE PROBABLY HURT BY THE CARTOONIST PRESENTAION OF THE POPE ON FACEBOOK BUT THERE IS NO BIG REACTION UNTIL NOW. CLOSING FACEBOOK IN PAKISTAN DOES NOT MEAN CLOSING IT ALL OVER THE WORLD
