Short summary: This article talks a partial lift in the november's moratorium, which prohibited any one-time purchase in the Moris library it also pointed out the necessity for the ban to be released soon because, in other case the library would not be able to spend its whole budget.

Is Moris library the best place to make budget cuts?
How does this ban affect the quality of the education given in SIUC?

My Opinion: The article does not present the reason why SIUC gave the moratorium; maybe the University has good reasons other than financial ones to do that. In other case, I think it is a very bad idea.
