article report

Title of article: A Wholesale Invasion
Publication: The Economist
Date of article: May,22.2010

Summary: In this article, grocery stores had not changed in india for along time but indians can notice the change now. They are getting new outlets, even though consequences such as big sales in small shops and increasing renting occurs.

Issues that can be found:* how will this change affect shop owners financially?
* will the Indian's economy not be affected by the presence of foreign companies for food?
* How will the government deal with that trend overall?
* Should a government protect its own people's shop or let the free market rule?

My opinion: It is good to improve or add things in the country but it is more important to make a balance between the advantages and disadvantages. the change in indians's market is a good thing if there is not big impacts on the country overall. hopefullt the advantages will be more influencial than the disadvantages.
