Summary:
Children who live with smoker miss people and have smoke inside their home, miss more classes more than children who don't. The study showed that school children aged 6-11 who lived with one smoker have less rate of absences than who live with more. Unfortunately, one of three children do live with at least one smoker in USA.

My opinion:
I think that they may be absent because they might get illness from the second hand smoke. Besides, parents should be able to smoke out of their home, as a result, they will protect their children from many diseases.
