My opinion:

I think I agree with the writer we should respect our parent and give them some specie to enjoy their life. In addition, put yourself in the same situation. Do you want spend your life alone? I have one of my cousins she stopped in front of her mother and argued her marriage after her father passed away. Now her mother is living alone in her house after her daughter marred.
