Short
summary:
According to the article, using electric
shock could help patients with early Alzheimer’s disease to improve their
memory. It stimulate patients’ entorhinal cortex, which is the golden gate to
the brain’s memory, to return memory.
However, some scientists said it’s not good to use eclectic shock
continuously because it could lead to some negative effects.
Issues
that you can find:
-
What are the bad effects of electric shock?
-
Is this way beneficial for patients for a long time?
-
Is there any other way to boost memory without using electric shock?
Your
opinion:
In my point of view, I think this way
could lead to psychological problems because the patients may be afraid from
using electric shock. Also, I know some people who used this medical treatment
but their memory didn’t boost for a long time. So, I would recommend coming out
with another medical technique to boost patients’ memory.
