US murder suspect's blog appeals

this article is about the murder of a rapist. This murder happened
when the rapist went out of jail after he spent more than 20 years
there. He raped a girl and a boy after he killed their
families; then he killed the boy. After six weeks, the police
caught the man.

I think this man has mental problems. I think this kind
of man should get tough punishment. Also, the government should
teach the prisoners how to behave and give them more advice
about their lives.

Shark attacks teen off Texas coast

This article talks about a 14 year- old Lydia Pualk a North Carolina girl who have been attacked by a 5 feet long shark, at the time she was with her family swimming, she was seriously injured and was immediately taken to a Medical Branch, there she was treated by Dr. Kelly Carmichael. Later after the surgery Lydia woke up and her vitals signs are better. According from Sheriff's office said that the shark was feeding at the time when Lydia was too close to it.

I was surprised by the attack when I read this article, I didn't expected that sharks attack too close to shores, she was lucky to survive from a 5 feet long shark especially in the Texas coast. The life guards are responsible for this incident; the shark is not to be blamed. As for the surgery it sounds more painful for this poor girl, I wish her all the luck. In the future I'll think twice before entering the water.

Exam phone finds 'must mean fail'

This news, exam phone'fail', tells about Scottish exam that a cell phone is not supposed to be in the test room. Thus, any students who are found with a cell phone while testing even though students have no purpose to cheat will fail the examination. Because there is a clearly announcement from instructors that a cell phone is not permitted in the testing hall. In summary, in order to be fairness for all students, there will be a punishment for students who have a cell phone in the testing room no matter what reason is.

Based on my experience, most of schools in Thailand do not allow to have a cell phone while testing. So I would not feel bad if I could not bring a cell phone while I test. I don't think any students need to make a call or receive a call on their testing time. That is funny. Furthermore, I think it is good to leave a cell phone while testing because we can concentrate only our testing.

Music show canceled after indecent exposure

According to this article, there was a serious broadcasting incident that two members of punk band named 'coach' showed their sexual organs at main live show in Korea even though they were guest singers. Right after this incident, they were arrested for their action and live music show were canceled altogether. Because of lustful exposure, many watchers protested to the broadcasting station named MBC and broadcasting regulator in Korea were considering heavy penalty to MBC. Actually, This is the first indecent exposure incident on live television in Korea.

When I first saw this article, I was so embarrassed to believe this incident was truth. I also imagined how hugu shock attacked to Korea's conservative society. It's a kind of disasters to ordinary people who want to watch television for entertainment and comfort. The broadcasting station is not being used for trouble makers. The police has to punish these singers strongly and prevent to happen it again.

Japan tries to boost its workforce

In this article, "Japan tries to boost its workforce" the author reports that Japanese government makes women, young people, and retired people to participate to work. In Japan, the problem of decreasing the population of working-age has become serious. However, the government said, "It is not appropriate to import foreign workers." They also said that it would be for social security, crime prevention, and economic competitiveness.

This time, I want to discuss about my country in this class. I think this topic is familiar to us because we studied about population in core class. Nowadays, Japan faces the problem, which the population of working-age is decreasing. However, I don’t agree with their solution because Japan also faces the problem of declining of TFR (Total Fertility Rate). According to this article, it is 1.29 in 2003. If women became to work more, it would decrease more. However, I don’t want them to permit immigration. I think that once we accept immigration, Japanese would not be single nation anymore. I think that the best way of solving this problem is to encourage young people to work. If Japanese governments want more people for working, they should give them more chance to participate in society.
