I read an article which is called “changing from right hand driver to the left hand drive in the USA” This article talks about changing the driving from the right side of the car to the left in the United States. This change happened in 1900, after many people decided that it was more practical to have the driver on the right hand side of the road. This article mentions the benefits of driving on the right hand side of the road. This article also mentions the problems that the driver, might have when they drive on the right hand side of the road. Also in this article you can see the people’s opinion about the driver’s location.


In my opinion this article is very interesting. It shows a lot of information about the driver’s location in the car. Actually, there are many countries that still have a different opinion about the driver’s location. Some countries prefer to have the driver on the left hand side of the car, and other countries prefer to have the driver on the right hand side of the car. Actually, I do not find any reason why they still have these different opinions about the driver location.

In my opinion, getting a job is one of the most important things in our life. It helps you to have a good life. Without getting a job you will face many problems, especially to the people who look for money. There are some people who hate their jobs. There are many different things could make them hate their jobs. For example, the work condition, when you have a lot of work to do and many hours to work. That of course will lead you to hate your job. Next, your job partner, when you work with a bad job partner, that will lead you to hate your job. The bad job partner has a big effect on you in the job; if you can’t help each other and learn good things from each other, this is different from having a good job partner. So you have to find a good job for you and try to find a job you like, because when you do something you like you will be happy and successful in your job.

In the article “Life and stress” Gillian Darby talks about the effect of stress on our lives. Everything in our lives can be a source of stress. Even good things in our life can cause stress, for example, getting married, having children, and getting a job. The stress is one of the most important things which leads to illness.

In my opinion, stress is part of our lives. Nobody can live without stress. Every thing that happens in your life, even good things, can be a cause of stress. We should control the stress in our life. Also we should find good ways to reduce the stress, because the stress can possibly lead to illness.

I read an article which talks about exercise.shtmlexercise. This article talks about the benefits of doing exercise. According to the article, doing exercise can help you to reduce stress, and makes you feel good. Doing exercise also can help you reduce the risk of having some serious disease like diabetes. In this article you can find some ways to stay fit. Also, this article mentions some types of exercise.

In my opinion, doing exercise is the most important thing that we should care about. I believe that doing exercise is very helpful for our bodies. It can improve our health and our feeling. Also, doing exercise can protect us by reducing the risk of having some serious disease like heart attack and diabetes. I agree with the author when he mentions the simple steps, which is very helpful for us.

Victim's dad can seek rights to O.J. Simpson's book

This article argues about the famous person, O.J Simpson’s problem. According to passage, this guy tried to publish his book, “If I Did It” by his daughter’s name. Because of this book, he can get a lot of money and emphasize that he didn’t kill his wife and her boyfriend. However, his idea failed. The boyfriend’s father accused him, and he requires O.J to pay $33.5 million. Now, they are fighting at the court, but this situation is bad for O.J, regardless the result, he needs to pay the fee for his lowers.

In my opinion, this person is special by the view comparing other people who are suspected as criminals. Usually, such people go under society and never come back to surface. But O.J Simpson did publish his book, have some news in public. I want to know this reason is his personality or his glory in the past. And as much as himself, his daughter’s mind is hard to understand. Why she help his father who suspected as killer of her mother? Does she still believe his innocent? I think, there are many mysteries of them, so O.J Simpson will be remembered by many people in the future.

Wal-Mart Survey

What we wanted know by this survey is American people’s mind about Wal-Mart. How they think about Wal-Mart? Do every people hate the company? And we also got some information about the health insurance and the union, because those factors are one of the problems of Wal-Mart’s employee system.

We asked a lot of, 58 American people, and in my case, I got answers from SIUC students and teachers.

As result, 44 people said that they don’t want to work at Wal-Mart, but 38 people said that they like to do shopping at Wal-Mart. Only 14 people who think the company treat their workers’ family, and then 46 people had the opinion that health insurance is more important than higher salary.

According to this survey, many people do shopping at Wal-Mart. However, few people want to work at Wal-Mart. Why? The reason is that there are some ideas that they are bad for workers and small businesses. A lot of people have this opinion, so they don’t like Wal-Mart very much. Besides by this result, I notice that most people don’t want to only salary but also health insurance. So we can say this result is really natural that workers leave from this company. If they want to supply not only good price but also good service, they should take care for their works, because if they are not happy they can’t serve with good attitude.

Wal-Mart and Unions by Arwa Alamoudi

Survey's results:

in this survey, we talk about Wal-Mart and unions. we did 12 questions in this survey.Every student took 9 survies and gave it to American sitizens. The survey had been given to several people; 28 males and 30 female. we had different results. For me, when I tried to give this survey to people, I faced different level of acceptance. some people made me feel welcome for giving them the survey while some people were hesitative. For example for people's hesitation, one student asked me how long does it take and another asked in worry should I write my name. For refusing the survey, there's just one lady refused to fill it and her reason was that she is working and she is busy. there is question in the survey which is "How often do you go to Wal-Mart?" the most answer that people chose was once a week. Also, there is a question "Do you think Wal-Mart will continue its success?" most people chose yes except two. And the question for union "Do you think Wal-Mart should accept unions?" 47 said yes and 9 said no.


My opinion:
I think Wal-Mart is successful business even if Wal-Mart doesn't accept union. I always go to Wal-Mart because it is convienent and cheap. I think Wal-Mart is free to do what ever they want and they are free to accept or refuse what ever they want. This is their business. I enjoyed during working in this survey because it was intresting for me to see other people opinions espically in what people like to talk about. I liked to talk about Wal-Mart and know what was their steps for reaching to this success. Finally, I liked this subject because I think Wal-Mart becomes one of americans famous business.

Benefits of fasting

In this article, the author talks about the benefits of fasting. As we know, fasting is difficult for people, but the article gives us a lot of benefits of fasting. By fasting, we do not have to spend time cooking, shopping for food and cleaning up after meals. So, we will have free time to meditate, read, or anything else. Second, we can lose some weights if we are fat. In this time, some people who want to lose their weights have to hard time to do that, but fasting is going to encourage them. Finally, by fasting we are going to feel as poor people feel, and animals. That encourages us to help them and thank God.

In my opinion, fasting is very important for us, because many people in the world do not have anything to eat or drink. However, we have a lot of kinds of food and anytime we feel hungry we can eat whatever we like. The poor people need anything to eat not, like us. Also, we have a lot of benefits of fasting as the article mentions. Finally, fasting encourages us to thank God about blessing and mercy.

Also, it is believable more than speaking. Then, the article talks about the face expression; it says that facial expression leads the people to your mood. Also, it claims that the eyes show your emotions. Moreover, it is important to yse the hands in the speech to clearify the the ideas more. Finall, posture express about your status and how much confidence you have.


My opinion:

I strongly agree with body language. It is important to use it. Acyually, it is subconsious. Because of this, it is more honest than speaking. Also, it makes the sender recieves clearer message from the sender. Sometimes we don't know what the sender means exactly because he used ambigious words with less use for body language. Because the scients relaized how impotant the body language is, they create a science calls by this name. Also, in business or in investegating, they need it alot and they used to give their employees courses about body language.

Crimes and guns

we choose guns and crimes because we were intersted in this issue. Then, we made eleven questions about guns and crimes.Then, i went to the student center to ask other students in SIU about these questions.Actually, i went particularly in the food area because there a lot of students have a free time to answer questions. Most the people are very friendly to answer these questions but one of them refuse to answer the questions!! in fact, i learned a lot of new information. for example, i learned that new york state is the most dangerous state in the United States of America.

in my opinion, i can see most of the people agree that New York State is on of the dangerous states in the United States of America. Also. Most of the students do not have gun and i think the main reason is because that the gun cost a lot of money and the students usually do not have enough money. in addition, more than half of the student's families have gun because they usually have enough money. on the other hand, most of the students do not agree with the opinion that say more guns lead to reduce crimes and i agree with them because that will make us scare from every one in the country and this is not our goal.

Guns and Crimes ( Survey)

I and my classmate deicide to make a survey, five of us did the survey that about guns and crimes. We made eleven questions about theses two topics, and each of us asked eight people, and we wanted the answers of these questions form American students to know about their country. I went to the students' center to share the survey for eight American students; I chose the food area to share these questions because this is a good place to talk with the people, I was looking for their opinions and their impressions about guns and crimes in the United State. The most questions that I wanted to know from their answer was the state that has the highest percentage of gun ownership which was in this survey Texas and I wasn't surprised abut that because it is very dangerous state in America. In fact these people who answered the questions were very nice and very friendly to me and one of them had a survey about international food, and he chose me as a volunteer to answer his questions and I did.

In my opinion, Guns are related to crimes, and these are very dangerous for our life, I chose these two topics to make a survey because there is a stereotype that says all Americans have guns but this is not true as the survey showed to us even if we asked a few people. From the results I noticed that there are a big number of people who said they don't have gun but they said they have friends and members of their family who have guns. I agree with the most people who said more guns will not reduce crimes, and we asked this question because there is article says the opposite idea about that. I was looking for the most state that has a big number of gun ownership and I was feeling about Texas as most people said. Finally, I hope that crimes will reduce in the future to have a safety life.

Nicolas Sarkozy tops France va va voom list

According to Samuel (2007, October 3) in his article on Telegraph, The weekly Auto Plus, a car magazine reported that president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy’s car broke traffic regulations many times, such as the speed limit, going through red light, the wrong way down two roads and using a bus lane. It became clear by testing, “test out the new government” of Auto Plus. In addition the prime minister, Francois Fillon also came one of the list of government offenders. And then the magazine said that Mr. Sarkozy wastes energy, because he uses lot of car to move. However the ecology minister, Jean-Louis Borloo and the justice minister, Rachida Dati was almost spotless.

I think that people of authority must not abuse their power. They have to give a fine example. However most ones, especially statesmen are above the law. They say that “we are your servants”, but after achieving their aim, they act like a monarch. Even though Mr. Sarkozy is a good politician, if he breaks small rules, he is not an excellent citizen. Still it is good fortune that we can find some good people in a drain. The power must not be abused.

Big Mac Man

This article is one of the most interesting articles that I have read; it talks about an unusual man, who is named Don Gorske; this person has eaten a Big Mac every single day for 30 years, and he just missed for eight times. In the first month he ate 265, so the total is 18,000 of Big Mac Sandwich. This man doesn't looking for any different kinds of food; he just eats a Big Mac sandwich, and he loves it.

In my opinion, this man is very strange man; eating a Big Mac every day is a big problem that people don't notice. This kind of food causes many health problems such as heart disease, overweigh, etc. because this sandwich has 546 calories and the other kinds of fast food have the same quantity of calories, and it causes the same problems. In my case I quit eating from these kinds of sandwiches that are unhealthy.

High Crime See More Guns Stolen

This article says that States with high crime see more guns stolen. In fact there is a relationship between high crime and guns stolen, and there are reports in this article that show to us the big numbers of guns that are stolen in a period of time in the different states in the United Sates. States such as Alaska, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, New Mexico, Georgia, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina are the most dangerous states in U.S. that probably have a lot of guns stolen with high crime.

In my opinion, what the author mentions is really logical, and I totally agree with him. Guns are the most important thing that criminals try to find to do their crimes. Guns are very dangerous for the society, and there is a relationship between high crime and guns stolen, because criminals when steal guns they steal them for a purpose to do their crimes, not just to keep them. There is something interesting which that a gun is very small, so when people steal it we can't know about that and they can hide it anywhere, unlike cars or something big that is easy to see.

Police fear girl in sex video still being abused

I found this articlet in CNN website, the article declares that the police found the tape shows man abuses the younger girl her age about five years old. Moreover, the article mentions that the investigators are still looking for the younger girl. Finally, The investigators know about the tape from Tuck who told the investigators.

In my opinion, the government should make new strategy to educate the couples before they get married, so they can have a good education of taking care of their children. Moreover, the government should give the punishment fit in this crime. Therefore, the criminals can be afraid to do this kind of crime. I hope the police will find the girl as soon as possible and put the criminal into the jail.
