According to my coffee survey, about 66% of Americans drink coffee every day. Most Americans who drink coffee say "because it makes me wake up and it is tasty'' More than 66% of Americans drink one or two cups, and it helf percent by each. Americano and Latte are the most popular kind for Americans.
In my survey, I learned lots about Americans' habits with coffee. In my country, we can see most people drink the coffee in the morning just like Americans. Though the reason I think it dependent on the person, I still think making people wake up is the bigger reason in my country. I will seldom drink it in my country; therefore, I do not know which flaver is the most popular in my country. Even though I selom drink it, I still believe coffee is the most popular drink in my country. Therefore, I think there are lots of similars items in both countries.

The survey was talking about different topics and issues. In fact, I was interested in the relationship between Obama and the American people, so I asked two question, "Do you still like Obama?" and "will you vote for Obama next time?" According to my survey, I asked seven people and five of them still like Obama. One of them said, "I do not know" and the last one said, "I do not like Obama and I will not vote for him next time". In addition, I was interested in the topic of what actor or actress people admire. All the people said, their favorite actor or actres. However, one of them said, "I do not admire anyone because they are not important people".

In this paragraph I will analyze some results, especially analyzing three questions: Do you like Obama? Will you vote for him next time? And how can the government solve the health problem? First, 36 people still like Obama and 16 people do not like him. In addition, a few of the 36 people think that Obama is a liar. In my opinion, I think most of them still hope from Obama a lot of great work even if he sometimes lied. Also, most of them believe that Obama will improve the economy, so they will vote for him. Second, for the third question 46 people said, "Yes" that the government should run the health insurance for everyone. On the other hand, 18 people said, "Do not solve it, let people solve it". I think that people need to have health insurance, most of them do not have it, and 18 people are hopeless that the government will not solve this problem. In the end, the difference between the U.S and K.S.A is big that a treatment is free and 99 percent are satisfied about King Abdullah.

The survey was very interesting for me because it talked about many topics.I was surprised about how American people can get health insurance. Therefore, I asked some questions such as how can you get health insurance?I asked five people. I n fact, I got new information about this question. One of them said, "I get my health insurance from my job," but the surprising information for me is that some people can buy health insurance. It is very expensive. In addition, I was interested in how many times people drink coffee. All of them told me how many except one who said, I do not like coffee.
I was iterested in hnowing people's opinion on some questions. For istance, how can the government solve the health insurance problem? And do you like to drink coffee? In fact, 46 people said,"gov't-run health insurance for everyone." and 18 people said, "Do not solve it, let people solve it." Also, about the people who like to drink coffee 55 of them said, "yes", but 16 said,"no". First, in my opinion, health insurance is one of the most important things for American people. In fact, I was looking forward to finnding good solution for this problem. I think the government should help people to get health insurance. In addition, I was surprised about some information. For example, some people can buy health insurance, but it is very expensive. Second, I expected all people liked coffee, but I found 16 said,"no". That means some people do not like coffee. Indeed, in my country many people like coffee; I believe all saudi people like coffee. In short, the results from this survey helped me get good information about American culture. Also, the idea becomes clear.

After I did my survey I found that the majority of American have similar answers in some of my questions. For example, the question number that we asked them (11) was, “Why do you think American people like fast food. “Their answers were related to their daily work , price , and not wasting their time .I believe people ‘s answers were according to their experience ;for instance , a person who works from 8 am until 4 p.m , it is normal to take lunch at the nearest restaurant like Mc Donalds .In this point , I found there is big difference between people in my country and American people for eating fast food during their daily live ;this differences starts with people in my home city preferies to eat at their home or eat fresh food which is healthier more than hamburger and pizza . However, people are right to care about their time, and they should care about their health more than anythings else .

The next interesting answer I found is when I asked them, “Do you agree there is link between obesity and depression?” There were 61 people who said yes, 6 said no, and one person said maybe. Those answers are helpful for people who want to know depression results. So, it is good that people aware about depression, but the problem are they follow right ways to avoid this negative behavior or did not care. According to my opinion, people did not care a lot about their depression, because most of them don’t have control of their feeling or ability to cope with difficult situations. People’s answers were true, there is link between depression and obesity. Now I could say that obesity will increase in the future because people’s lives are hard .

Initially, this survey was talking about many different topics. I was interested that most of the people agreed to use Facebook for connecting together. Also, when I asked people about president Obama, if they will vote for him next time, they told me it depends on who runs opposite of Obama. On the other hand, some people think Obama is doing well and they will vote for him the next time. In fact, I was interested in the topic, "why do you think American people like fast food?" Most people said, because it is fast, easy to make, and cheap. I am surprised one of them said, "It is convenient". I think that fast food is an unhealthy and bad choice.

In this survey, I will analyze some results especially, three questions: Do you like Obama? Will you vote for Obama next time? Do you like drinking coffee and why? Thirty six people like Obama and sixteen people do not like him. Five people did not answer. I think most American people believe that Obama will help them to get a good option in economy, health, and education. They will vote for him next time. For the last question 55 people said, yes that they like drinking coffee, and 16 people said, "No" that they did not like drinking coffee. In my opinion, this is a natural result, because coffee gives the person energy, wakes him up, and tastes good. It is a popular drink in the world. To sum up, there is a big difference between the United States and Saudi Arabia, especially in politics.

This survey is very important and gives students a good chance to deal with American people. There are different topics inside it. Also, there are different opinions. I saw people don’t care about what they wrote because they think they are correct even if they talk about politics. There are many good questions that talked about what happens in USA, such as, health insurance, coffee, jobs, Obama, and more. I think this survey make me think how American people solve these problems.

In this survey I am interested in the coffee questions because when I came to the USA I saw most people drink it. Also, in Saudi Arabia I didn’t drink coffee like now. In USA I drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee in a day, but in KSA twice a week. In this survey I saw most people like to drink coffee, but there are different reasons for why they drink it. Also, I stop in one point which is most American don’t drink black coffee in the morning. They change it by other flavors. Also, most of them drink it in the morning but I think I am able to drink it at any time. Now coffee is ahabit for me and I must drink it every morning to feel key.

American people don’t think the best cell phone in the world is iPhone. I was surprised about that because I thought American people the best phone for them is iPhone from the way it serviced them such as checking Facebook, playing games, and with many perfect services. Moreover, some people prefer buying iPhone for following the new fashion and some just buy it for fun, but not for benefit from amazing advantages for it. For example, these days most people are buying iPhone to follow the new trend of modern time. However, in my opinion iPhone is the best phone and that thanks for Apple Company for that. In sum, I believe everyone has his or her opinion but they need to know more about the phone before they say something that will make the phone less useful for people.

I did the survey in the student center with five American people. I did not get the time to discuss it with them. I just gave them the papers to answer my questions. Moreover, it was fun to do because I got the perfect time to talk more with American people and they were very friendly and kind. I was surprised when most people did not like iPhone, because I thought it is the best phone, and that made me very interested to know which phone they are thinking is better than iPhone; however, some people felt bored when they were answering the questions, because it a was very long survey. In short, the survey was interesting for some of them, but most important they were friendly.

Honestly, I was surprised about this high rate of obesity in the USA. There are many people who suffer with this problem, but some of them do not care or do not know about the side effects of the obesity. In addition, when I saw some people said students have to exercise in their schools, I disagree with them bacause sports are hobbies not commitments. In my view, I think the best solution is giving overweight people healthy insurance; as a result, we will be able to solve this problem for fat people, even if they are poor. As you can see, healthy insurance is the best way to reduce the obesity.
Besides, most of Americans do not know about political problems. When I asked them about their opinion in Arab revolutions, many of them do not know what I meant. There is no a doubt that Amercians are mor likely to know what they have to know or important events; however, in my country, my youngest brother, who is 7 years old, knows about Quddafi. On the other hand, when I asked my conversation partener about the location of Syria, he said in the west of Africa. In short, Americans usually focus on the USA news and weather, but do not embarass them by asking them Where is Djibouti !?

My Survey

In this survey I asked many people some questions about many issues. Also, I asked these questions to find out how Americans felt about certain issues not in America only, but in whole world. I asked people this question what advice would you give a poor person or young person who needs health insurance? I asked 10 people this question five said get job and the other five said get an education. However, I was interested in one question that why does the rate of unemployment keep increasing? Five people answered this question two of them said the economy is very bad. Also, two of them said there are not enough jobs. Finally, the last person said the jobs were given to others countries, taxes, and government problems.
In this survey most of them felt angry because they economy is very bad. However, students are different from others because each one has different opinion about each question. In fact, when I was in Saudi Arabia I thought American people hate Muslims, but it was not true because I have many American friends. However, in my country the people curious about what is going on around them, but in my America the people did not pay attention about global events. There is no question surprised me in this survey.

Many American people participated for our survey. Then we got many kind of general information from them. I was especially interested in some questions about fast food. These were why do you think American people like fast food?, What is the main reason that causes obesity?, and Do you agree that is a link between obesity and depression?. Many Americans said negative answers such as there are some bad effect for our body. They already figure out that fast food is not good. However, it is still popular. This inconsistent result makes me interested.
Analyze the result, people said fast food is easy, convenient, taste good, and cheap. Actually, there are many benefit in fast food. That is why people cannot quit to eat fast food. This problem is not only American people. Case of my country, there is not big different. I think fast food will be still popular in the future even everyone knows it is bad for our body. I hope fast food will be able to change to only benefit as soon as possible like healthy and easy.

The reason for agree are "If they deserve it, it should happen" or "Eyes for eyes". The reason for disagree are "Because it is inhuman way" or " What if they were innocent". Next, twenty-one people think "The death penalty decreases crime", and forty-four people do not think so. Many people think that "Government shouldn't kill anyone". But I heard that "survey questions are really boring" and "this question is too strange, I do not know how to answer it" In sum, I felt a little shy in the beginning. But when I asked them to help me, they were very polite. This survey has one problem which is talking about "what actor or actress do you like? Why?" On Sunday 1st of October, I went to the Panera coffee shop to do my survey. I did my survey on four older people and one international student. In fact, they were friendly and blissful to help me, and some of them was angry from discussion, such as the death penalty.Surprisingly, most of them did not know or understand the Arab Spring. Also, they were surprised about why we discussed these sensitive issues in our class. In addition, because my survey was filled by older people that facilitated their understanding my issue, instead of, adults who sometimes do not follow the latest events. To conclude, really I benefited from this survey knowing what is the reaction of American people about sensitive topics.

Title of article: Secondhand smoke ups child absenteeism
Publication: Health News
Date of article: 9/5/2011

Summary:
The children who live in a secondhand smoke environment will miss the class more than the children who do not. The secondhand smoking has been verified to increase incidence of ear infection and several illnesses of respiratory system. Unfortunately, one-third of U.S. children live with at least one smoke, and more than half of children whose ages 3-11 have been examined "tobacco" in their blood. Out of 3087 children, 8% living with one smoker had an average of 1.06 more days absent, and the other6% living with two or more smokers had an average of 1.54 more days absent.

Issues that I find:
1.Do you think that it is suitable to smoke indoors?
2.If smoking becomes illegal, what is the right for the smokers?
3.Do you agree that for children, living in a smoky environment will cause them to miss the class?

My opinion:
I consider that smoke should stay outside because secondhand smoke will make other people get some respiratory illnesses. If any smoker comes out to say they have the right to smoke, I will tell them that we have the right that we do not want to smoke secondhand smoke. However, I do not agree with this article because there are lots of reason that will make children be absent. For example, the children might not make friends in the school, so they do not want to go there.

Issues that I find:
1.Do you think having copyright is better than having lots of choices?
2.Do you think Apple's protecting its copyright is right?

My opinion:
In this world, I think we need lots of choices, not copyright. "Copyright" is like a wall to limit lots of new ideas. If you worry about your idea being copied, it means you are a half genius. Real genius will create lots of unique new things. Therefore, I think do not let creativity be limited.

It was more than four days work; after that she used the "Facebook" to communicate with her friends and everyone. After that, there appeared a group to support her.

Issues that I find:
1.DO you support the person who does the gender reassignment?
2.If your child wants to do that, will you support?
3.If your friends want to do that, will you feel uncomfortable?

My opinion:
I think everyone has their own right to do the gender reassignment. Even though I do not really support this, I still esteem them. I will not support my children to do that, but if they want to do that, I will not stop them. Actually, walking with them I will feel vary strange, so if I can I will not walk with them.
